November already?

I agree with my friend Veronica when she says that she can´t believe that it is November and that a whole semester has almost gone by. Time sure flies by!

I have been studying with another group now, mostly girls from Alingsås but one from Kil also, which is a bit closer to me. But, we haven´t gotten together as the Alingsås people are able to do every week. Our group gets together on Adobe Connect every week though, it is a lot different to just have web meetings, but in a way I guess it is good too. That way you can sit anywhere you like, in any other place you fancy, another continent if you like :) We are studying English for those of you who don´t know that. We have just finished two modules, one is Pronunciation and Oral Proficiency and the other one is Language Acquisiton for Primary School Education. I didn´t care much for the first one mentioned here, but I think that it was just hard to catch up with the pace that she held (because I was in China when it started). But there were also a lot of interesting things that we went through so I guess I shouldn´t complain too much.

My new group and I got to meet in Karlstad last Wednesday for the first time (for me) for the beginning of two new modules. One is English Grammar, which I have a feeling is going to be difficult because I don´t know anything about grammar structures. I just know what sounds right or wrong. It is crucial though, if I want to be a teacher, that I know this. It seems like a tough class to be taking. The other one is called Culture, Media and Society and THAT on the other hand seemed very interesting. Unfortunately, I just last Thursday found out that I probably won´t be able to take that course until in the Spring. I was really looking forward to it too! The reason for that being that I need to pass one exam that I didn´t pass last semester and finish my Math that I need in order to get admitted to the Teacher Education for Primary School Education in the Spring. So, in other words, I have a lot of pressure on me right now to get that done. So, I better stop blogging and start studying. I have a Math test on Tuesday and an outline for an argumentative essay to write before tomorrow. Signing off for now, hope it doesn´t take as long to blog again as it has done up until now. I kind of enjoy it :) !
